Lover of life, practitioner of random acts of kindness, pacifist...closet carnivore. I grew up in Greenwood, SC. While in SC, I taught special education for 8 years. I married at 21 and divorced at 31. I quit teaching, divorced, and moved to New Hampshire all in the the same year (2001)! I met Bill and Jarred in New Hampshire. We moved to the great state of Texas for several years and now Bill and I live in Grand Blanc, MI. I work for the folks that bring us all the Discovery Channel in our educational outreach group, the DEN (Discovery Educator Network). When I am not traveling, working with teachers, I telecommute. I think working from home is the bee's knees! We have a dog (Bexar- pronounce bear) and a cat (Toula). The path has been long, winding, and sometimes even broken, but it led me to this place with this wonderful man and a son. I couldn't be happier.
