Have a group of students that struggle to show you what they know and can do? We know our students with disabilities, our English language learners and at times, a high percentage of the balance of our students struggle during typical classroom tests. Learn how to break down accessibility barriers as you create more authentic assessments that allow for student flexibility in response. Our presenter will share thoughts on meeting students in their digital environment and engaging them in learning through the assessment process using rubric or performance based assessment. All educators who regularly assess students will discover existing resources to assist in creating these innovative assessments and will leave with ideas and examples to explore immediately.
